"Catechism" - a form of teaching used to convey the foundational truths of Christianity, often in preparation for full participation in the life of the Church, including the Sacrament of Communion.
Catechism emphasizes the systematic teaching of Bible truth, based on foundational information that every believer should know. They provide the opportunity for students to learn the important truths of our Christian faith and prepare them for a life of service to the Lord.
Classes are taught by Rev Jarrett and are usually held 12pm - 2pm on Sundays, following the worship service for students sixth grade and up. (A light lunch is provided). Catechism courses are two years (summer off) and culminate in confirmation upon successful completion of all requirements. If necessary students may enroll at anytime of the year.
Please contact Pastor Michael Jarrett at [email protected] or 570-933-4065 to enroll a student.
